The Friends of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library would like to thank everyone who made the Summer Soirée successful!

Special acknowledgment to Sarah and Mark Lathrop of Liberty Lake Wine Cellars, Bill Bozly, Musician, Randy Schwaegler, Emcee, our hard-working volunteers, the many donors, and all who came and enjoyed this wonderful summertime evening. Please thank the donors listed below for their support when you patronize their businesses throughout the year!

Your generosity supports multiple programs and events at the Liberty Lake Municipal Library.

We had a great Spring Book Sale!! The Library meeting room was packed with a steady stream of bibliophiles looking to add to their collections, fill out their reading lists, or find new authors or subjects to enjoy!

Special recognition to the Liberty Lake community, the Library and City staff, and the book sale team spearheaded by Lola Douthitt, Cathy Weisbeck, and the many Friends volunteers. We could not have done it without all their hard work and energy.

The continued support will greatly enhance the Library’s programs and workshops. And when you finish reading all the great books you found — you can donate them back to the Friends of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library so others can share the joy of reading!

Tickets are available for the Spokane Symphony for the months of March and April. Please contact the Liberty Lake Municipal Library to get your ticket(s) for a fun evening of music and culture.

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Liberty Lake!!!  The Friends recently gave a presentation to the Kiwanis Club about the various funding to library programs. The Kiwanis Club of Liberty Lake is a strong supporter of all things Liberty Lake. They surprised us with a generous donation of $500 to The Friends of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library, where it will be used to support and enhance programs, materials, and equipment for the library.  Friends representatives Sue Hamblet, Leslie Smith, and Robin Bekkedahl received the generous gift and ongoing support for The Friends and the library’s present and future goals.
